Made from 140+Wampum tube beads, glass spacer, 2 horn beads and Imitation sinew.
 
This necklace was inspired by the traditional multi strand Wampum necklaces.  The aim of this piece is to create something that would help Easternwoodlands relatives feel connected to their ancestors. Many historic pictures of Easternwoodland leadership or distinguished individuals wearing these necklaces.  It was often common for leadership in the community to be gifted wampum beads. Sometimes these beads would be used in ceremony, Wampum belts, regalia, and trade.
